This unique pair of evenings will provide fascinating context for Pierrot Lunaire with in-depth perspectives on the literary and theatrical histories of the Pierrot character, culminating in a performance of Pierrot Lunaire by soprano Kristina Bachrach and NEXUS Chamber Music. Evening 2 features a semi-staged theatrical performance of Pierrot Lunaire directed by Jim Iorio.

Pierrot the Actor—the second evening of Pierrot, Avatar of the Modern Artist—will feature a semi-staged theatrical performance of Pierrot lunaire, directed by actor-director Jim Iorio (Roosevelt University).
